Food Services Team Leader

About the Role

Working with the Residential Facility leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food services team ensuring the smooth operation of all functions within the kitchen. This includes, but not limited to meal planning, stock control, daily schedules and temperatures, rosters and management of kitchen/catering staff. This role is also required to undertake cooking duties on a weekly roster.

About You

You will be have demonstrated ability to lead and supervise staff including rostering, training and leave management, home style cooking skills and menu planning, understanding of food safety standards, food production, stock management and control, and infection control policies and procedures. Experience working in an Aged Care Facility is highly desirable (but not essential).

Position Requirements

All applicants are required to undergo a National Police Record Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check. As a Residential Care Facility, COVID-19 vaccination (including booster/third dose) is mandatory for all staff who work onsite.
